The power
Memphis himself is a symbol of the power that comes from sports and music. It helped him to cope with a difficult childhood, overcome setbacks and become a creative person and professional footballer.
Sports and music: can the life of a young person do without them? Sports and music bring creativity, fraternises, breaks through stigmas. When children play sports or make music together, a safe place is created where development can take place, talent appears, and judgments fade away. Confidence grows. That is what we want: breaking stigmas!

How we do that?
By entering into partnerships with local organizations, such as the Cape Coast school of the Deaf, the Ghana Blind Sports Association and ANOPA project. We get deaf and blind young people involved in sports and music activities where they can develop essential skills and discover their powers and talents. We increase awareness in the community and beyond, about the power and potential of deaf and blind youngsters. In doing so, we contradict stereotypes and break through stigmas.

In 2023 we want to have improved the lives of at least 20,000 deaf and blind children. By then we’ll be working in five countries, with 75 organizations. Good education, the opportunity to play sports and games. To make music, to dance. To connect, to develop, to build self-confidence and to give more positive energy to the world.
Within five years we want to work with a budget of 2 million euros, because we want to do this well! The costs of the organization are all covered by Memphis. You can become a friend of Memphis and contribute directly to the programs that are already running and make a difference in the lives of these children.
